To get started, let's consider a simple case, where we want to use Allmice CMS Classic Edition to install a website to our computer (laptop or desktop). The code and database of such website are located in our computer and can be accessed through browsers from our computer only (localhost).
This tutorial assumes, that your computer has a Linux operating system (Lubuntu 18.04 is used in this example), where LAMP server has already been installed and rewrite module has been enabled for Apache 2 web server. The software phpMyAdmin should be already installed too, to make accessing the database easier.
